The first webinar introducing Global Internet Policy Observatory, a tool built through crowdsourcing to help the global community interested in Internet-related policy.
giponet.org, part of the Global Internet Policy Observatory (GIPO), is designed to help better understand global developments on internet policy and governance. The European Commission is helping set-up the GIPO tool to help everyone find their way in the Internet policy labyrinth and understand what is being discussed at key international events on Internet Governance, who does what, what positions different stakeholders adopt.
The workshop "Co-designing GIPO platform" took place in Sofia on the 4th June. Over 40 participants from a variety of countries attended the presentations and took part in three workshop sessions led by keynote speakers, where they debated on specific questions related to the development of the GIPO platform.
