State settles with the Stichting de Thuiskopie (Home Copy Foundation) on remuneration for private copies

The State and the Home Copy Foundation have ended their dispute over the amount of the charge for private copies for the period 2007-2012. They have now agreed on a compensation amount of €33.5 million to be paid by the State to the Home Copy Foundation. The legal proceedings being conducted on this issue between the Home Copy Foundation and the State will now be terminated.
